Regenerative Program

Regenerative medicine is a branch of medicine that focuses on ways to replace, repair or replace damaged human tissue. This approach to medicine is based on the notion that the body has a way to repair damaged tissue.

Throughout your lifetime, your body can repair all sorts of injuries. However, the injuries can exceed the body’s ability to heal itself, resulting in ongoing pain. Medications are the standard of care for chronic pain, but they can lead to unpleasant side effects. Surgery to repair damaged tissue is an option of last resort.

Our regenerative medical techniques help to boost your body’s ability to repair itself. At Pain Care Clinics, we perform a variety of regenerative medical services.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is a technique used to stimulate the repair of painful ligaments, tendons, and joints. It has been in use since the 1950s and carries minimal risk and few side effects. It is an effective method for treating back pain, muscle and bone injuries, and osteoarthritis. Prolotherapy involves injecting an irritant into an affected tissue to inflame it and stimulate healing.

Prolozone

Prolozone is a technique that involves an injection of a mixture of different medicines into an affected area. It is effective at regenerating joints, repairing damaged tissues, and stopping pain. It treats tendonitis, bursitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, gout, and osteoarthritis.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a technique that uses a platelet-enriched solution derived from the patient’s blood sample. We turn the blood sample into a platelet-rich plasma that contains growth factors comparable to stem cells.

The plasma sample is injected into damaged tissue to stimulate healing and repair.
